Homemade Strawberry cage

We recently purchased enough tubing and connectors to make a cage to try and keep the local squirrel population at bay from our 6ft high x 8ft wide wall of strawberry planters. All in all the product works well, but we found it difficult to keep the structure square, and had to resort to making diagonal stabilizers by cutting a strip of flat aluminium into 30cm lengths, drilling holes at each end, and securing each of them to the round piping using 16mm cable cleats from Screwfix. This works a treat, but it would be great if mainframe direct would add a ready made product to do this (like their competitor's have!) Additionally the netting clips are child's play to our squirrel population who would "ping" them off before helping themselves to our strawberries. (We pick up about 10 clips a day!).Twisting wire around the poles and netting seems to work better. The squirrels are still a nuisance but now!

The joints are just a little too big for the metal poles supplied by mainframe and had to be forced into the poles.
